mangovibe is a half hour magazine type of show that is both hip and “old school”.

mangovibe which airs over Channel M Channel 8 here in B.C. Lower Mainland, Cable 10 on Vancouver Island, Free over the air UHF Channel 42, CH 254 Bell Express Vu subscribers nationally across Canada every Wednesday 2:30-3:00pm Saturday 12:30-1:00pm and Sunday 2:00-2:30pm. mangovibe presents contemporary events and personalities in British Columbia, other provinces of Canada, the emerging countries of the Pacific Rim and the colorful ethnic communities in multi-cultural Vancouver. The program highlights achievements, innovations and happenings with a modern flair. It is a program with a universal mind.

Here are the reasons why people are talking about mangovibe. The format of the show is contemporary, fast-paced, visually exciting and intellectually stimulating. It is culturally varied and informative but most important, fun to watch with the entire family. Grassroots, traditional and classical styles have been blended with a dash of city chic for today’s generation. Professionals form the creative production team. Lani Dayupay-Savellano is the experienced producer . She has worked on major TV and Music Video productions and management in Asia. Lino “Boom” Dayupay, is the creator and director of mangovibe. He has been a music producer and artist for over 20 years. Boom is also a professional artist, musician and composer. His group “Kulay” (means color) is the only group signed by Sony/Columbia in the Philippines.Boom worked with leading artists and his music was specially remixed by international DJs Judge Jules and Norman Cook a.k.a. “Fat Boy Slim”. He recently formed an “island rock” band called Malaya. As a director, he worked extensively with the prestigious Unitel Productions, and he is an award-winning Music Video director in Southeast Asia. All the contributors, writers, special guests, researchers are experts in their respective fields and are from various ethnic groups. The mangovibe Team is composed of publishers, DJs, entertainers, writers, fashionistas, community leaders, event organizers, promoters, entrepreneurs from varius ethnic groups.

Globalization continues to march on with mangovibe. With the program’s urban city living format, it reaches a broad spectrum of viewers specially new immigrants from different parts of the world. The program will help newcomers to integrate, assimilate, actively participate and appreciate the beauty of living in Canada.
